DSS 90210 heads outdoors

I’d like to have a better excuse for why furtivity has been dormant since, well, November of last year. I kind of do, but perhaps it’s a topic for another time.
It was a mighty fine weekend a couple of weeks ago, however, that DSS 90210 went down in an industrial park in sydney’s west.
We’d been amped for the fortnight we knew it was happening so when the night came and the early number told us the location, it was on.
We chose the ’second entrance’. Parked the car and made our way along the path where we immediately located the bodega doing their thing early under a gazebo. Neat.
Midi in the city were kind of beside them, dropping some nice deep and techy house, and there was another system with some live bands early down a little bush track close by (photo above).
A pathway led to the main part of the site, where DSS, FTP and scum asylum were located.
Admittedly after scoping the site we spent the majority of our time at the DSS system. Boot vs sook’s 2 hour set was a total highlight – slammin dnb that had the whole crowd rocking out.
As the clock moved closer to 3am, it was looking great. No interruptions and everyone still going at it. Even a band playing live dnb on the walkway. Sweet.
Alas, someone partied a little harder than they could handle. Ambos were obviously called and with them came the police. Thankfully they just made sure everyone else was partying safely (and that that naked dude near the bodega finally put on some pants) and left the party to kick on.
We left around 4am, exhausted, out of water and dust caking every part of our body, but in a great mood.
We also managed to give Matt from the bodega a ride back to the city.
Lack of promotion of the numbers on online forums this time around definitely seemed to improve the crowd for the most part, though we heard there were still some issues with gear being stolen.
We had a mad time, though. We’ll certainly remember this night for a long time to come.

How do i find out about these parties, i get pissed off when i read about them and i was not there.
This was such an awesome night, blew my mind!
DSS free parties forever
