Sound systems resurface

After a winter spent deep in hibernation, two of sydney’s best underground sound systems have resurfaced for yet another sydney summer.

The very special bodega clan are finally back with the golden mountain party on saturday november 17 at hotel hollywood (2 foster street, surry hills). It’s a fundraiser event to help them build a sound system – door damage a fiver, and judging from their last mix, should be a smashing night.

Those unfamilar with bodega can expect the unexpected… and a great night to boot. Speaking of which, sydney’s “it” party at the moment (which just happens to be a warehouse party – our favourite kind) is most definitely paradise lost. After the August shenanigans, it’s wonderful to see another party announced, with an underwater theme as well.

Line-up is… well… the usual for a paradise party. All happens on saturday december 1. You can get tickets ($10) through the site (recommended) or hang about until they go on sale at stacks of wax…
